JOB OPENING: WEB DESIGNER

Role Description

We are seeking an experienced and creative Web Designer to join our team. In this full-time, on-site role, you will be responsible for designing and building responsive, visually compelling, and user-friendly websites. You’ll work closely with our graphics and marketing teams to ensure cohesive branding across all digital platforms.

Your role will also involve front-end development, ensuring seamless performance across all devices, and optimizing user experience. A strong eye for design, technical skill, and a deep understanding of digital trends will be key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop responsive websites aligned with branding and business objectives

  • Work collaboratively with graphics and marketing teams to produce cohesive digital content

  • Implement front-end development solutions using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies

  • Ensure cross-platform optimization for mobile devices and web browsers

  • Manage and maintain websites using platforms such as Shopify and WordPress

  • Translate UI/UX design wireframes into actual code

  • Stay current with emerging web technologies and design trends

Qualifications & Skills

  • 5+ years of proven experience in Web Design or a related field

  • Expert knowledge of Shopify and WordPress

  • Strong skills in responsive web design, UX/UI principles, and graphic design

  • Proficiency in front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

  • Creative, detail-oriented, and user-focused

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or related field (preferred)

  • Must be able to work on-site in St.Austell
